Child & Adolescent Therapy
Helping Children and Teens Thrive Emotionally, Socially, and Developmentally
What We Support With
At Scopic Care, we provide gentle, evidence-based child and adolescent therapy for young people across Rouse Hill, The Hills District, and the broader Greater Western Sydney region.
Child & Adolescent Therapy: Dedicated local support for behavioural difficulties, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, peer relationships, and major life transitions.
Comprehensive Psychological Assessments & Testing: Diagnostic evaluations conducted at our Rouse Hill practice, including ADHD assessments, autism spectrum disorder evaluations, learning difficulty testing, and Cognitive/IQ assessments.
Parent Guidance & School Support: Clear guidance for parents and local school communities wondering whether a child’s behaviour is a typical stage of growing up or requires targeted psychological support, parent coaching, or school accommodations.
Flexible Treatment Pathways
Children can participate in individual psychology sessions or structured small group therapy programs in our Rouse Hill practice. Sessions can also be joined from anywhere in Australia through our online telehealth service.
Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions tailored to your child’s specific emotional, psychological, and developmental goals.
Small Group programs: A calm, positive environment for local children to build social skills, strengthen peer connections, and learn emotional regulation in calm, supportive environment.
Short-Term vs. In-Depth Long-Term Care: We offer solution-focused short-term therapy for immediate, targeted issues, as well as comprehensive long-term therapy for long-standing challenges and complex mental health needs.
Unsure Which Path Is Right for Your Child? If you are uncertain whether individual sessions, group programs, short-term focus, or ongoing therapy best fits your situation, you can explore your options directly with your clinician during your initial consultation to build a tailored care plan.

What To Expect
In the first session, we spend most of the time with parents or guardians to gather a full picture of your child’s background, current circumstances, and the concerns that brought you in. This helps us identify what needs the most support and how to best tailor our approach. We welcome and encourage you to ask questions at any stage. From the second session onward, we generally begin working directly with your child while keeping parents involved and informed along the way.
