Couples Therapy
“Successful long-term relationships are created through small words, small gestures, and small acts.” John Gottman
At Scopic Care, we support couples in building stronger, more meaningful relationships grounded in trust, communication and mutual respect.
Common Reasons Couples Seek Support
- Recurring arguments or conflict
- Emotional distance or lack of intimacy
- Communication breakdown
- Loss of trust or unresolved hurt
- Parenting or lifestyle differences
- Adjusting to life transitions (e.g., children, relocation, career changes)
- Navigating neurodiversity within the relationship
- Feeling more like housemates than partners
- Wanting to reconnect before things fall apart
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. Working with a couples therapist can help you smooth out small issues that may be quietly straining your relationship, strengthen your connection, and proactively address areas that could cause stress in the future. It also provides a space to improve specific aspects of your relationship, even when things are generally going well. Couples therapy isn’t just about repairing what’s broken, it’s also about nurturing growth, understanding, and long-term harmony.

Relationship Growth & Pre-Marriage Program
About the Program
The Scopic Care Relationship Growth Program helps couples deepen their understanding of each other and their relationship. If you are preparing for marriage, deepening a long-term partnership, or navigating major life transitions.
Through a combination of assessment, reflection, and guided conversations, couples gain a deeper understanding of their relationship dynamics and develop practical strategies to strengthen their bond.
How It Works
- Relationship Insight Questionnaire
Before your first session, you and your partner will complete an online relationship questionnaire.
There are no right or wrong answers, the aim is to help you both reflect on your values, expectations, and the unique strengths and challenges within your relationship.
Your results are reviewed by your clinician to tailor the sessions to your specific needs.

You’ll attend three one-hour sessions with your psychologist who will:
- Review your questionnaire results with you.
