Why Choose Scopic Care Group Programs?
At Scopic Care, our programs are designed and supervised by psychologists who understand child development and the importance of providing meaningful opportunities for children to learn through experience.
Rather than simply teaching skills, we create environments where children can repeatedly practise, receive feedback, and apply those skills across a variety of engaging activities. This approach supports greater confidence, stronger generalisation of learning, and meaningful progress over time.
Our programs are:
- Small-group and therapist-led
- Evidence-informed and goal-focused
- Individualised to each child’s developmental needs
- Neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed
- Designed to build practical skills children can use in everyday life
Early Roots: Ages 4-6
Early Roots is a psychologist-designed program supporting young children to build social, emotional and developmental skills through purposeful, play-based experiences. Through individualised goal setting and carefully matched small-group activities, children develop skills including emotional regulation, communication, social confidence, flexible thinking and school readiness. Families also receive practical home activities and progress feedback to help support their child’s development beyond the program.
Peaceful Kids: Ages 4-7 and 8-11
Peaceful Kids is an evidence-informed program helping children understand and manage anxiety while building confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing. Through engaging activities, discussions, stories and relaxation techniques, children learn practical strategies to recognise worries, calm their bodies and develop healthier ways of responding to everyday challenges. The skills they develop can be carried with them beyond the program, supporting greater confidence and emotional resilience at home, school and in everyday life.
Brick by Brick-LEGO®: Ages 7-12
Brick by Brick is a psychologist-led social development program using collaborative LEGO® activities to help children build communication, teamwork and social confidence. Through engaging building challenges and therapist-guided activities, children practise active listening, problem solving, flexible thinking, emotional regulation and friendship skills in a fun, supportive environment. The program helps children develop practical social skills they can carry into everyday interactions at home, school and with their peers.
